These skates are built around a rigid hardboot constructed from durable materials, incorporating numerous convenient features that are highly regarded by thousands of skaters. The shell design sets itself apart by offering a more open cut, which greatly improves comfort, especially for users with a high instep.

Beginning with the top of the skate, the FR1 model is equipped with a cuff boasting the most advanced canting system in the industry. This system provides 16 different cuff positions, addressing pronation or supination issues, and also serving to adjust the cuff height. FR skates were among the first to introduce a replaceable abrasive pad on the side, commonly referred to as a "slider," which extends the lifespan of the boots by protecting them during wheel slides (shuffles). As expected, this feature is present in the current FR1 edition.

Other notable elements include metal blocks seamlessly integrated into the shell material instead of traditional mounting points. Each block features seven threaded holes for screws, enabling frame position adjustment. Furthermore, they enhance the connection between the frame and boot, increasing rigidity and significantly improving energy transfer. The mount spacing is set at 165mm, making the boots compatible with most frames that adhere to this standard, including triskating frames, which are easier to attach thanks to the special wheel well adjacent to the front mounting point, providing ample space for large wheels.

Inside the shell, you'll find a comfortable, anatomically shaped liner that can be laced up in the upper part to securely hold the foot in place. Beneath the liner, a shock absorber enhances skating comfort and reduces the impact of landings. The boot tightening system consists of laces and two buckles—a traditional receiver buckle with a metal lever on the cuff and a ratchet buckle to firmly secure the heel.

The skate is accompanied by the new 4D frame measuring 273mm in length, equipped with four 90mm White Urban Speed Wheels and Twincam MW9 Titalium Freeride bearings. Make no mistake, these skates are designed for urban speed enthusiasts. The elongated frame sacrifices some agility in favor of superior stability at high speeds and while pushing. The four 90mm wheels effortlessly roll over even the roughest surfaces. You can achieve remarkable speeds, and thanks to the relatively low center of gravity, you'll feel as if you're tearing through the concrete beneath your feet. While these skates may not excel in slalom maneuvers and slides might be slightly more challenging, those factors become inconsequential when considering their intended purpose: exhilaratingly fast cruising through city streets. They stand as one of the swiftest pre-configured freeskates available, featuring four wheels.
